How do you get your favorite pie as your official state pie? Through legislation, like Florida House Bill 453 "Designation of an Official State Pie of the State of Florida," and through promotion, like the American Pie Council's use of promotional products publicizing the effort at this year's Great American Pie Festival. Yes, the pie in question is Key Lime, and hopefully the promos are patriotic.
