How Well Do Your Promos Reinforce Your Brand Positioning?
With almost a million products to choose from, plus the option to custom produce items to any specifications, the promotional products industry offers a lot of opportunities to match a promo with a message or value proposition. One great example is the promo below, which includes an all-white jigsaw puzzle and a can of Red Bull energy drink, which makes an immediate, memorable statement about their product. Looking at an example like this one makes it seem easy, but if I had to guess, I doubt this was the first thing that their marketing team thought of when choosing a promotional item. Putting together a promo like this requires thinking outside the box, having a clear marketing goal in mind and viewing product selection as an integral part of the creative process.
