Giveaway Meets Subway in Japanese Promo
ping mag, a Tokyo-based design magazine recently posted an article about ten subway based promotional tactics in Japan. This one, by Cannon, was quite unique. They set up a long poster in a Shibuya subway station and attached many small packets of free stuff to it. As the packets were removed, the poster behind them was revealed. Unfortunately, the packets only contained a brochure, which I would say makes this significantly less cool. A temporary tattoo would have added a lot to this promotion, and fit in with the creative on the poster.
