Promoting Arizona: Mobile Campaign Targets Cold Weather Cities
The Arizona Star reports that Tuscon is using a travelling street team, hot chocolate and promotional products to promote Arizona to the public in northern cities. The guerrilla marketing program includes tailgating at sporting events and promotion in a variety of places where a warmer climate probably sounds mighty nice about now. Brian Johnson, president of the Southern Arizona Lodging and Resort Association says, "Frequency in marketing is important. You don't want people to forget you. Anytime you put yourself out there, you're staying at the forefront of people's minds."
