Ad Age Takes a Look Inside the Purse

Ad Age recently took a look inside the purses of 100 women in Oregon and Texas and identified some of the top items that were found, including a large number of promo items, particularly promotional pens and keychains: ad-age-keys.jpg
"These were common, showing such trinkets really do stand the test of time. The problem is, brand names frequently were worn off. Cheap printing is not a good idea for your promo item." Another good reason to try a color dome pen, so your logo is safely protected by an acrylic dome. Keep in mind, one participant had a six-year old receipt in her purse, so even an inexpensive promotional giveaway may last longer than you would have expected.
