Promotional personal care products, particularly ones that are handy to take on the go, like chapstick, hand sanitizer, sunscreen and bug repellent, are more popular this year than ever. Many of these products are customized with a unique labeling that allows for vivid color while remaining waterproof and resistant to wear. The machine works by spooling a sheet of labels through a printer that contains multiple colors of plastic film and multiple print heads. The print heads are basically a grid of individual points that are heated in the appropriate pattern to melt the colored film into the label, creating a custom label that can withstand a lot of wear and tear and still look great.
