WWII Mickey Mouse Gas Mask

I suppose this isn't technically a promotional product, and it's much more sinister than the Mickey and Minnie bubble blowers. According to GasMaskLexikon.com, the masks were produced by the United States in 1942 in order to protect children in the case of a chemical weapons attack. Using a popular cartoon character, "the mask was designed so children would carry it and wear it as part of a game. This would reduce the fear associated with wearing a gas mask and hopefully, improve their wear time and, hence, survivability."
