When I was a kid my grandparents would give me cool video games from Japan when they came to visit, and I think Japan's pretty much stayed ahead of the US in terms of video game technology ever since. Now, while Burger King sells CDs with video games on them in the US, in Japan they actually give away hand held video games with Happy Meals, or Happy Set, as they are called over there. Plus, in Japan they still deep-fry the apple pies. (via PPIBlog)
