Monster Egg

Imprinted eggs, though pretty crazy, are relatively popular. In the past, however, we've only seen them imprinted on the shell. But in Japan, they imprint their peanuts on the shell, and burn designs right into their cooked eggs. In this case, the design is an oni, or Japanese folktale demon. Oni is also translated as troll, ogre, or devil, making these...deviled eggs! (via Kyoto Foodie)
