MTV Rocks Carnaval?

When most people think of Brazilian Carnaval, they think elaborate floats, crazy costumes and amazing samba music. MTV Brazil, however, is not content to celebrate Brazil's awesome heritage and some of the most danceable music on earth. No, they want Carnaval to ROCK. And because MTV is so hip and cutting edge, they decided to make their rebellious statement by giving out KISS masks. After all, nothing says edgy like a talent-challenged, novelty cartoon glam band from the 70s.

Rock and Rock All Night! MTV has always been edgy which is why they are still popular and making money. I've always said that if I offend a few people but get through to hundreds or thousands of people, then it was worthwhile.
