KFC Kristmas!

Free mp3 promotions are cool, but not nearly as cool as free records. This vintage promotional record features the smiling Colonel Sanders and a clever back cover that looks like a wrapped Christmas present. I haven't heard what's on it, but I'm guessing the tunes might be pretty fun to listen to as well. I gotta say, as fara as Kentucky Fried Chicken promotions are concerned, I even like this better than the space logo.

Elf Promotion Gets Shoppers into Christmas Spirit

TJ Maxx put on an elf-themed promotion in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York to get shoppers excited about Christmas. The promotion included mobile window displays, a whole street team decked out as elves and wacky present backpacks that featured windows showing the hot gift items within. Is there sugar in syrup?

Google Gift 2007: A Little Video (Camera) for Everyone

We've featured previous Google Christmas gifts on the blog and now, thanks to Shimon Sandler, we've got some footage of this year's gift, a Flip Video Camera featuring the Google logo. For one thing, it's a great way to get more content on YouTube. After all, they did spend $1.65 Billion to acquire it. For your reference, previous gifts included: a digital photo frame, a USB travel kit and a color-changing mood radio.

A Little Eco: ABC Family Promotes 25 Days of Christmas with Reusable Shopping Bags

ABC Family is promoting their "25 Days of Christmas" programming by handing out 60,000 reusable shopping bags in highly-trafficked shopping areas. Street teams are decked out in branded red promotional fleece, hats and scarves. According to senior marketing vice president John Rood, 展e want to try to get the attention not only of viewers, but our cable and satellite and affiliates partners and Web visitors."
