Another Google Logo Lego Project
Here's a great version of the Google logo done in Legos, including a step-by-step account of the process. One thing is for sure, this guy really likes Legos. Check out the wall of Lego bins behind the logo. And if you can't get enough Lego, check out the Lego Indiana Jones website.

Lego My Town, Lego My Google
| Here's an interesting Lego twofer. First, Jan Voorman fills all the cracks in the walls in Bocchignano, Italy with Lego pieces. Next, someone re-creates the Google logo in Legos. Previously we've seen Legos promote architects and giant Lego man on the beach. (Jan Voorman's art via Designverb, who also have a recent post full of famous photos re-created in Lego form.)
Update: One thing I just noticed about this photo is that it is a real-life Lego version of a Lego-ized Google logo that Google had used on it's home page in honor of Lego's 50th anniversary. It makes the head spin, don't it? | ![]() |

Branding Blocks
What better promo for an architecture firm than LEGO-style building blocks? (Well, chia card for landscape architects, but that's a different story.) Anyhow, the building block as architecture promo does a couple things. Obviously, it conjures up the idea of construction or building, which is relevant to any architect. Perhaps slightly less obviously it evokes the idea of creativity, which is probably something that most architects want to evoke. Lastly, it conveys a sense of fun and whimsy, which is great if that's what your firm is all about, but is probably the least universal of the three feelings.

The Bigger the Better: Giant Lego Guy
| If you're looking for some high-impact outdoor advertising, the bigger the better. And this giant Lego guy is really big. He's also wearing a "shirt" that says "No Real Than You Are." Make of it what you will, he has these kids eating out of his oversized, cylindrical hands. | ![]() |
