Iconic Envelope Makes for Catchy T-shirt

Promotional t-shirts: practically every business, school and organization in the world has done them, but how many are really cool or really clever? This shirt, created for a FedEx campaign, makes it look like the wearer is carrying a FedEx envelope around. It actually reminds me of the vintage Nike t-shirt that looked like you had a pair of Air Jordans slung over your shoulder. Anyhow, I like it.

Wii Have Promos, Too!

Okay, so for my last video game related promotional post for today, I guess it's worth mentioning that Nintendo will have lots of cool giveaways at the video game convention E for All, which starts today at the LA Convention Center. The t-shirt below is one of them. There was actually a better photo of the shirt, but it didn't have the awesome guy in it, so you get this photo. Previously: Nintendo promotions of note. Platypus T-shirt

I saw this in a screen capture posted by someone who was testing Google's GDrive product. Giving away t-shirts is a great way of rewarding the testers that inevitably contribute to the launch of any successful product, so I think it makes sense. I do wonder, though, how many of these developers actually own a platypus. Totally unrelated note: apparently there is no officially accepted plural for platypus, but some options include platypuses, platypoda and platypi.

Mileage from Your Promos: Wilco Photo Contest

So you've made some promotional t-shirts and given them out or sold them, but why let the fun end there? With so many ways to share information and photos online, you can have your fans/users/customers send in photos of themselves wearing your promotional gear. Especially if you make it a contest and give free concert tickets to the winners, like Wilco is doing right now.
