There’s nothing like custom apparel to make people feel unified and connected during community service work. When volunteers are wearing the same logo apparel, it’s a visible reminder that they’re working toward the same goal.
Our client, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League (SAL), an organization that connects cops with kids through sports, mentoring and a variety of other programs, used the coziest kind of custom apparel for its volunteers: promotional sweatshirts.
SAL handed out the half-zip fleece pullovers at an annual party for mentors and mentees. “We got them for our youth and mentors who completed the minimum hours of community service work,” says SAL’s Ashley Bolanos. “They wear them when going on special outings, field trips and community service projects.”
The promotional corporate gifts have received rave reviews—from SAL and recipients.
“The quality of the sweatshirts is outstanding—especially considering the price. The embroidery also came out great,” Bolanos says. “I was told by one youth that it’s her favorite to wear because it’s so comfortable and fuzzy. The mentors were also excited to receive such a nice quality sweatshirt for volunteering their time.”
Bolanos adds: “We can’t wait for our next project with ePromos!”
Promo know-how tip:
Opt for laser-etching your custom fleece jacket if you want your logo to have a deep, tonal look. For a standout, crisp look, choose embroidery. Our Brand Consultants can walk you through all the options.
