Apes: Advertising’s Next Target Audience?

Recently scientists have been communicating with apes using a touchscreen that contains 350 lexigrams (symbols, kinda like hieroglyphics). They’ve found that apes can consistently select the symbol that responds to a spoken word or other stimulus, including recognizing brands, like M&Ms. (via The Adverlab)
