When you have almost 12 million Facebook friends, eight million Twitter followers and over 900 million YouTube hits, there’s a good chance promo products would be a lucrative marketing move for your brand.
The guys from One Direction, the first-ever U.K. band to debut at #1 in the U.S., are jumping on that money train with a pop-up store in New York City, selling everything from 1D logo toothpaste to mini versions of band members (can you hear the tweens squealing?) and, of course, custom t-shirts. Stacks and stacks of them.
Fans can get their hands on trendy promo items like custom aviator hats or opt for something a little bolder. For that, we suggest the custom adult-size onesies. You’ll turn heads when you walk through the door. We’re sure of it.
Directioners can head to the former Borders bookstore near Macy’s and Herald Square to load up on their 1D merch. The shop is open through December 30.
