Often times when marketing with promotional products you’ll discover that the medium IS the message: instead of relying on the perfect imprinted text or slogan, the product speaks for you.
Here’s a great example from Kudu, an advertising agency that caters to clients with small or limited budgets. To show prospects that the agency has the ability to get creative without spending a ton of cash, Kudu printed their business cards on custom sticky notes. Each sheet folds in half to create a business card with the agency info on one side and a scannable QR code on the other.
Not only does Kudu save themselves money here, but they make a great first impression on potential clients and have an example of their work they can show people right away. Kudos to Kudu!
