Custom bags can be used by any business and given out for any reason, but for fledgling companies attending a tradeshow, they’re a must. Logo bags are useful (everybody schleps stuff at tradeshows), and they get your company name directly in front of your target audience.
Our client, Britonne Saddle Savers, recently reached out for help making a splash at a big tradeshow. The company makes pillow-soft pouches, called Saddle Savers, that slip over the stirrup irons on English saddles to protect against scratches and dirt. Riders can stash their keys, cell phone and other items while they ride. (If you ride horses, you know how convenient this is.)
“My brand is boutique-y, and I wanted something that would stand out at the American Equestrian Trade Association show,” says Melanie Marsh, creator of Britonne Saddle Savers. “I wanted a giveaway bag that would catch the attention of buyers.”
Marsh worked with ePromos to create an affordable plastic bag with a high-end look and feel.
“I’m on a limited budget, and I looked everywhere but couldn’t find anything to match the Tiffany blue of my brand,” she says. “Within a couple minutes chatting with my ePromos rep, I literally went from ‘I don’t know what I want’ to a very classy product that I feel proud and excited to hand out.”

Bags should never be handed out empty, so Marsh included her catalog, business card and a promotional pen inside. That’s a tradeshow giveaway to give any brand a little giddy-up. (Couldn’t resist.)
