A Dependable Brand

In an article about Maytag closing an Iowa factory, there was a mention about the Maytag Collectors Club:

The Maytag Collectors Club, a nonprofit group formed in 1988 by Nate Stoller, 65, of Ripon, Calif., is made up of people passionate about the quality of Maytag products. Club members collect washing machines, rare gasoline engines, race car logo clocks, and other american made promotional items stamped with the Maytag name.

“I think it is probably one of the last American companies that built things to last forever,” Stoller said.
