Cameraflage: Desigining Promotion Beyond the Naked Eye

Here’s an interesting new technology: cameraflage. In essence, design elements are added to a product, like a shirt, that are invisible to the naked eye, but show up in digital images. It works because digital cameras capture a wider range of wavelengths than the naked eye. The technology has many potential implications in the promotional sphere, because so many promotions are done at events where there are also lots of photos being taken. (via The Adverlab)
