Classic Cars, Pedal Powered

Can’t afford a classic car? How about a promotional pedal-powered version? Promotional pedal cars from the late 1900s through the 1960s have become popular collectors items. Originally they were promotional giveaways for children when their parents bought regular cars. One interesting fact: “pedal cars were based on real cars with the manufacturers actually working with automobile companies in crafting model cars that were later production models, so a 1929 Buick pedal car is actually a 1930 or ’31 Buick.” Some of the more valuable models are worth over $100,000, making them more expensive than most regular cars.
