Supersize Dolls (or, Send in the Clowns)

Major fast food companies have had a lot of success promoting to children with small toys used as premiums, so given the recent attention they’ve gotten for helping make Americans the fattest people in the world, perhaps it’s inevitable that there would be some satirical response. In this case, that response comes in the form of some adorable vinly dolls created by Ron English and featured in Juxtapoz Magazine which bear a resemblance to a well-known fast-food clown. Given that backlash, if not the sincerest form of flattery, is at least a leading indicator of commercial success, perhaps custom toys could help your brand make an impact.
