Here are some more trade show giveaways including an mp3 player and a Yahoo! travel mug. I’m not sure which show these were from, but I’m going to have to guess that it was web-related. Why do web companies use so many promotional giveaways? I think one of the main reasons is that they don’t necessarily have a tangible product, and another is that they don’t usually have a retail location. Because they lack these two things, it can be harder to establish a brand experience, or at least one that extends beyond the online experience, so promos are a perfect opportunity for them to do so.
